The graduating class of 2021 has faced different challenges than any other pervious class. Seniors all over the world spent one of the best yers of their life on Zoom and wearing mask, but amidst all of the weird day to day abnormalaties, they learned to adapt and remained positive. Since senior year hunt been very thing they though it would be, lets take a moment to shine a light on Jace Lockhart, a AHS senior. Jace is a well known and active student here at Arlington. Jace has accomplished many thing his years here, he’s been inducted into the National Honor Society and Beta Club. You may also see him on the court! His junior year, the boys basketball team won the District and regional championship. He’s had an internship for the large corporation in Microport. He visits kids at Donelson Elementary and dressed up as the Black Panther to play with patients at St. Jude. The incredible Mrs.Christopher, Mrs.Land, Ms. Perry are honorable teachers for Jace. He says they have always been supportive of him, provided him with life lessons that helped him grow, and made sure he did all he could to become successful. He plans on attending either Belmont University or The University of Memphis to get a degree in business administration and has dreams of owning and managing his own business. Jace wants to leave the class of 2022 with this piece of advice: “Live in the moment, enjoy your journey, don’t take anything for granted and surround yourself with people that want to see you succeed.”
