Its not a secret that Kim and Trump have had there differences for a little bit. Last year they almost brought the world into a nuclear war, but sometime before May they should be meeting. There’s not much information about the upcoming meeting between them. Experts from North Korea have said they don’t have high expectations about how they think the meeting will go. Kim Jong Un hasn’t left the country since he took office. It is possible that the North Korean government will push for Trump to come to Pyongyang. It’s not clear what North Korea wants to achieve out of the meeting, but if Trump would have declined they would have been able to say they tried to create peace. The United States has made it clear that they want Noth Korea to be denuclearized, though Trump may need to start small with the expectations.
